Olympus has been training apprentices in a range of professions for many years. You won't just gain extensive specialist knowledge as part of our team; you will also enhance your personal and social skills. We do not offer any kind of intership for pupils but an apprenticeship or dual-study program at Olympus will lay the ideal foundation for your successful professional future. Start your journey with us now!
Apprenticeships
Expect a profession with a future
As an apprentice, you will work in a wide range of different departments, taking on responsible tasks from the very start and getting to know the specific workflows that apply in Olympus' business areas.
You will develop a valuable network of contacts across Europe as a month of your apprenticeship will be spent at one of our European subsidiaries.
In addition, you will also learn all the specialist theoretical knowledge needed for your chosen profession during weekly or block lessons at vocational school.
Dual study
Expect the perfect combination of theory and practice
Have you graduated from high school and are still unsure whether you should choose an apprenticeship or a course of study? We believe that theory and practice should go hand-in-hand. That's why we have five dual-study programs at Olympus, which combine practical experience at work with theoretical knowledge at an educational institution.
We have worked together with the Nordakademie in Elmshorn for several years, an institution with an excellent reputation that offers practical courses of study. We offer the following courses in cooperation with the Nordakademie:
- Duales Studium B.Sc. Betriebswirtschaftslehre/Business Administration
- Duales Studium B.Sc. Wirtschaftinformatik/Business Informatics
- Duales Studium B.Sc. Wirtschaftsingenieurswesen/Industrial Engineering
We also work in partnership with the Hamburg School of Business Administration (HSBA). The university is located in central Hamburg and has a modern, international focus. We offer the following courses in cooperation with the HSBA:
- Duales Studium B.Sc. Betriebswirtschaftslehre/Business Administration
- Duales Studium B.Sc. Wirtschaftsinformatik/Business Informatics
- Duales Studium B.Sc. International Management
To find out which courses we currently offer, you can have a look at the open positions. Simply enter "Duales Studium" in our job searches.
Our dual-study programs provide excellent teaching and learning conditions, direct practical relevance, and project-orientated professional training in an internationally successful company. It goes without saying that we take care of your study fees and support you with additional benefits, such as book allowances and a free public transport ticket. A further key benefit: unlike conventional degree courses, you'll receive a salary from the very start.
Our dual-study programs start on August 1 each year. The study period is six semesters at HSBA and seven at the Nordakademie, each with alternating theoretical and practical phases. You will apply your newly acquired theoretical knowledge immediately during your day-to-day work at Olympus, helping you better understand what you are studying and giving your learning a real practical context. You will also work in several different departments and will become familiar with national as well as international product divisions.
During this time, you will make valuable contacts with our highly experienced experts. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to study abroad for a semester or to work in one of our European subsidiaries.
